Yvette Watson: Facility management has a great influence on the performance of organisations. It influences the work environment, maintains the value of furniture and other office supplies, and good facility management can also make a difference in the way materials, such as water and paper, are used. Great facility management can make a contribution to the circular economy, which is a crucial topic in today’s society.

Herman Kok: Cleaning, a poorly understood differentiator for business performance and image. Cleaning is one of the most underestimated resource for business performance. Many take this unskilled labor that anyone can do for granted. What one does not realize is that there is substantial scientific evidence that a clean environment contributes to hospitality, well-being and productivity. In education cleanliness is even a good predictor for study success. This offers unprecedented opportunities for effective cleaning as a differentiator.

Sander Duijvenstein: The introduction of smartphones and tablets have quickly changed our way of working. We have access to robots and other artificial intelligence, big data, and we’re increasingly making use of the ‘internet of things’. What inpact does that have on us, our society and the way we go about our day to day lives? Will robots eventually replace us, or will they simply aid us in our work?
